The illness then fully manifested itself in November 1998.
After New Year's, I weighed only 45 kilos.
I had bowel movements every two hours and could barely eat anything.
The nights and days were endless, and the pain and colic were almost unbearable.
At the end of January, my intestines were so badly inflamed that I had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius every two to three days.
